Participants will learn how to identify and remove barriers to achieving happiness and learn simple, effective strategies to actively promote authentic happiness. Positive Psychology is a new branch of psychology that has generated research supporting that increasing happiness can happen using these strategies; strategies that many research participants describe as 'life altering'. You can make happiness happen! Laughter Yoga is a wellness workout that has become a worldwide phenomenon with more than 6000 laughter clubs in 60 countries. Laughter Yoga is a combination of yogic breathing (Pranayama) and simulated laughter generated by body exercises. Since it is a scientific fact that the brain cannot distinguish between simulated laughter generated as a body exercise and genuine laughter, you receive all the physiological and psychological! Laughter really is the best medicine! Participants should wear loose comfortable clothing.
